Vanessa Y. Wu, MD

Dr. Vanessa Wu is a board-certified UCI Health family medicine practitioner. Her clinical interests include women's health, preventive medicine, chronic disease management and integrative approaches to patient care. She earned her medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Mass., and completed a residency in family medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Wu, who speaks conversational Spanish and basic Mandarin, takes a whole-person approach that emphasizes preventive care and empowering patients to take an active role in their health and well-being. She especially appreciates the opportunity to get to know her patients and their families as she provides their care. When she is not seeing patients, Wu enjoys reading, the company of friends and family, board and computer games, and delicious food.
